  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add jeera, tejpatta,heeng.
  3. Now add sliced onion,saute till golden brown.
  4. Now add ginger garlic paste..saute for 1 minute.
  5. Add onion paste and tomato paste...cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Now add turmeric powder,coriander powder and red chilli powder and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Now add grounded peas and salt....mix well and cook for another 10 -15 minutes.
  8. Add green peas whole and fry on high flame for 5 minutes.
  9. Now add 4 cups of water and bring to boil.
  10. Cook till the peas becomes tender.
  11. Finally add Garam masala and chopped coriander leaves and a little spring leaves if available.
  12. Serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
